Ring in the New Year on this walking tour which I will be leading on the afternoon of January 1st 2016. The walk, which will visit the many memorials and memory sites around Stephen's Green in Dublin, will celebrate the poetry that flowed into, around and out of the Easter Rising of 1916. Authors featured include James Joyce, W.B. Yeats, Patrick Pearse and Tom Kettle. Tickets are free of charge, with a hat passed round at the end for contributions. Meet at the Arch at the Grafton Street entrance at 2.30 pm with a 4 pm finish allowing time to adjourn to a nearby hostelry.
